The Lyric would be a good choice too. I would only say buy the best you can afford no matter what company it is. I have 3 bikes t of them have top level forks and I love it, the other has a 55R, haven't liked ever, bit iyts getting a 07 66ATA SL at the end of the month

I can't see why it would, and besides it can be changed on the fly so there is no reason to leave it in 100mm you could hit any of the other settings while riding point A-B and then drop it back down to do your thing, nothing to worry about

We will do factory travel changes, as for lowering a 36 van, well thats a bit of a job and would kill any warranty. you would be cutting the travel by almost 40% that would require cutting the springs. Yuo would be better off buying a Talas and using the travel adjust or a jump specific fork like a DJ,4X or Argyle
